A credit score is a three-digit number or score evaluated by a registered credit bureau which indicates the credit worthiness of a loan applicant or any individual's financial health and helps lenders decide whether to give credit or any loans.

Who is TU CIBIL?

TransUnion CIBIL Limited is a Credit Bureau that collects and maintains records of payments of individuals and commercial entities with regard to loans and credit cards. These records are submitted to TU CIBIL by banks and other lenders; using this information credit score is derived, and a credit report is formulated by TU CIBIL.

What is a CIBIL report?

A CIBIL report is a summary of your credit payment history of all loans you may have taken out across loan types and credit cards.

What are the reasons for low CIBIL rating?

The common reasons for a low CIBIL rating are irregular payments, no credit history, missed bill payments, multiple credit inquiries, and high exposure to unsecured debt.
